Why did you join Refugees Forward?

I joined Refugee Forward to get a better understanding of building a business from scratch, to make connections and ultimately to bring my business idea to reality.

Could you tell us a bit about your background and what project you are going to be working on?

My mother is from Panama and my father from Malaysia, and I grew up mostly in Malaysia. I was a pretty famous radio DJ in Singapore and in Malaysia before I switched careers and went into business and events. I was also a member of a dog rescue team and soup kitchen in Malaysia. During the program I will develop a business plan for Hollasian – a fusion restaurant that brings together Dutch food and Asian spices.

Where do you see yourself in 2 years?

In 2 years I want to have my own chain of Hollasian fast food restaurants.
